This one-day course will enable participants to work with
a Care Planning Process, contribute to needs and risk
assessment and contribute to developing effective practice
through care planning. Target audience:
Priority given to unqualified staff from Health and Social
Services as well as staff from a wide range of statutory,
voluntary and private agencies. It will also be appropriate
for staff who are qualified but have little experience
working with people with mental health problems.
This course provides the teaching input (for Unit 5) for
people undertaking the Certificate in Community Mental
