Particular emphasis is placed on ethical issues and the Research Governance Framework.

Successful completion will lead to a Diploma in Research Methods with a CATS rating of 60 points at level III, which could be used towards an honours degree. Those who already hold a first degree could use the Diploma as initial preparation for a Master’s Degree by Research.
