ECDL On-line
If you have access to the internet at work or at home,
you can enrol for the ECDL On-line option at Collingwood
House and then study on-line at times that are convenient to
you.
However, please be aware that using the online learning
materials is potentially VERY time consuming as it goes into
great detail for each module.
The drop-out rate for people who have started using the
online learning is currently about 90%. It may be quicker in
the long run for you to attend the courses at Collingwood
House.
The online learning is not really suitable for less
confident computer users, although the Getting Started course at Collingwood House
is actually designed as a preparation for using the online
ECDL training.
You would only need to attend Collingwood House to do the
module tests. It may even be possible for groups to
arrange for test sessions at other locations.
