A five-day basic skills course for staff working
with people with learning disabilities in Gloucestershire.
The course is open to candidates from the Partnership NHS
Trust, the three PCTs and Gloucestershire Social Services,
the private sector and voluntary services. Course fees for
private and voluntary services are detailed at the back of
this directory. Meets knowledge requirements of
LDAF Level 2 Mandatory Units:
- 002 - Induction - Learning Disability
- 003 - Foundation - Understand positive communication
- 004 - Understand Abuse
- 008 - Understand Learning Disability (Double Unit)
- 010 - Understand the elements of anti-oppressive
practice
Shares knowledge requirements with NVQ Units &
Occupational Standards: O1; CL1; CL2; CL5; CU5; CU10;
