Handling Information in Work With Adults With Learning Disabilities

November 11 & 12 at Collingwood House

 

This new two-day course meets the knowledge requirements of Mandatory Units for LDAF at both Levels 2 and 3. It focuses on how to produce appropriate records / reports, issues relating to the filing & storage of information (including confidentiality and the Data Protection Act), service user access to information and use of translation services.

 

The course is open to candidates from the Partnership Trust, the three PCTs, Gloucestershire Social Services, private and voluntary services. Course fees for private and voluntary services are detailed at the back of this directory.

 

Meets knowledge requirements of LDAF Mandatory Units:

  • Level 2: 006 - Understand how to handle information
  • Level 3: 103 - Handle information

Shares knowledge requirements with NVQ Units & Occupational Standards:

 

Level 2: O1; CU1; CU4; CU5; CU6; NC12; W6; W8; X1; Y1; Z1; Z5; Z6; Z11; Z13; Z16; Z19

Level 3: O2; C7; CL3; CL4; CL6
