Risk and Adults with Learning Disabilities

This new 2-day course examines issues relating to risk-taking including the following: Legal Issues; Human Rights Act; Policies & Procedures; Mental Health; an enabling approach to risk-taking.

 

The course is open to candidates from the Partnership NHS Trust, the three PCTs and Gloucestershire Social Services, the private sector and voluntary services. Course fees for private and voluntary services are detailed at the back of this directory.

 

This course meets the knowledge requirements of LDAF Mandatory Units:

  • Level 2: 007 Understand risk
  • Level 3: 105 Assess and manage risk

The course also shares knowledge requirements with National Occupational Standards 01 and 02
