Facilities available at Collingwood House
Collingwood House offers a variety of facilities
including Training Rooms, an Information Technology Training
Suite and Library. All training rooms are fully equipped
with overhead projector, screen, flipchart and whiteboard.
Television and video are available on request. Participants
can relax during break periods in the coffee lounge where a
variety of hot drinks are available from the vending
machine.
Training rooms vary in size to accommodate either large
groups for workshops and courses, or smaller more informal
settings for activities such as team-building. As a guide,
room sizes comfortably accommodate the following:
- Arlingham Room, 16 places
- Newnham Room, 18 places
- Whitminster Room, 10 places
The Information Technology Training Suite, Purton Corner,
enables participants to explore the use of software packages
in a safe environment receiving full support and training in
small groups.
The Westbury Room provides the setting for the Library.
Many books are available, topics covered include Psychiatry,
Learning Disabilities, Community Nursing, Psychology,
Quality, Research Methodologies and Management Development.
There is also access to CD Roms and the Internet. Training
can be arranged for individuals or small groups. Chris
Howarth, the Assistant Librarian is available at Trust
libraries at the following times:
- Collingwood House, Monday 8.30 am - 3.00 pm
- Dilke Memorial Hospital, Tuesday 9.00 am - 3.30 pm
- Wotton Lawn, Wednesday 8.30 am - 4.00 pm
- Stroud General Hospital, Thursday 8.30 am - 3.00 pm.
