Control & Restraint (Part One)

Three Person Teamwork Approach

A five-day course for teams of three people dealing with a variety of control and restraint skills which can be used to control a violent person without injury or undue discomfort.

 

The course gives participants knowledge and understanding of violent behaviour, teaches safety and basic techniques of control and restraint before moving on to more complex techniques in a variety of situations such as small rooms, staircases, doorways and how to move people safely from one area to another.

 

Course participants will need plimsolls or trainers, track suits or similar loose comfortable clothing.

 

An annual update is recommended once the initial course is completed.
