A multi-disciplinary workshop for all staff
entering the appraisal review process and for those members
of staff responsible for carrying out appraisals with staff.
Please note: Those being appraised need only attend
9.30am-12.30pm. Appraisers need to attend 9.30 am - 4.30
pm. (The General Appraisal Training half-day
course is provided for all staff who attend the Corporate
Induction Programme.) The aim of this workshop is
to develop participants’ awareness of the purpose and
process of the Appraisal Review system. The morning session
is designed to encourage participants to clarify their job
role, identify working standards and consider/generate
objectives in preparation for appraisal. The
afternoon session will explore techniques for the effective
appraisal of staff and encourage participants to develop an
