University Diploma in Integrated Approaches

to Psychosis (Thorn)

 

 

This programme has been developed in partnership with the University of Gloucestershire and offers participants an opportunity to gain a diploma of Higher Education and 60 CAT points at level III.

 

The programme is open to candidates who are involved in a practice capacity with people who experience psychosis. Nurses, occupational therapists social workers, doctors and psychologists have all successfully completed the programme.

 

 

Candidates are required to complete all four modules successfully; this is usually achieved over one academic year.  Attendance is one day per week Sept – June at the University of Gloucestershire. 

 

 

The following modules are offered:

 

·        Case Management of complex cases

·        Psychosocial assessment

·        Psychosocial Interventions for Families and Carers

·        Psychological Interventions for Psychosis
